BSC produces e-learning IOSH Working Safely course

Online health and safety training is now available from the British Safety Council (BSC).

The Working Safely course from the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) provides members of the public with a secure footing in risk management, giving them all of the information needed for a decent understanding of hazards at any level and in all sectors.

It has now been launched as an e-learning course from the BSC and can be viewed over the internet seven days every week and at any hour.

Students can therefore learn the content at their own convenience and pace.

Rather than focusing on UK legislation, it analyses best practices, which means people from all over the world can benefit from the e-learning platform.

It details why health and safety should be considered a vital part of a person’s job and reveals information that can encourage hazard awareness in the workplace.

Risk assessment principals, an organisation’s responsibilities, the importance of reporting injuries and near misses, controls for a variety of situations and personal obligations are outlined on the e-learning course.
